Joel & David De La Rosa plead “No Contest” to Fish and
Game law 5650.

They will be on probation for 3 years
They will serve 45 days in county jail
Each were fined $1000 and $120 in court fees

The DA told me that she is happy with this sentence
and that it sets a precedent for owners of paint
businesses being held accountable for the actions of
their workers.

She also mentioned that the neighborhood group and
especially the website with the photos posted played a
huge part in sending a message that we weren’t going
to let this issue get lost in the system and in
getting this sentence.
