Ikea Hacks
Normally I might recommend against permanently installing anything Ikea in one’s house.
One day a neighbor who was moving out left a Tromso in the street.

After hacking it up and adding a couple pieces of extra hardware, it worked perfectly as a loft bed space on my previously useless top of my closet.

Sometimes Ikea furniture needs a little extra something to “get the Ikea out”. This is an Ikea Kajak with Verushka the mannequin torso permanently attached to the top. The unit spins with storage on one side and a full length mirror on the other.

Last is this pasta/salad bowl turned into a hanging planter.

Custom Window Bars
Reed Brother’s Security fabricated and installed these window bars based on my fizzy design.

They kinda messed up my drywall in the process as they had originally fabricated them incorrectly and had to re-do them in order for their screws to be flush with the wall.
They never did get them quite flush with the wall but I was tired of them coming back and making a mess so I stopped trying to get them to fix it.
