Finally Club Fizz Has Some Pillows
Club Fizz was missing some nice fuzzy pillows for lounging about.

I got these from Realm Dekor. There were a couple of weird issues with the fur but they were very nice to deal with and made sure that I was happy with my purchase.

I got white and black fur so that the white would pick up the color of the LED lighting.
The fabric is called Bubble Fur.. Lots of Burning Man people like to make things out of it.
7 Years Of Bad Luck?
Today was supposed to be a fabulous day.
My amazing laser cut mirror was going to arrive via FedEx and I was going to finish the Club Fizz bathroom.
It’s in the shape of the famous Fizz H2O logo.

Anyway it did arrive, but it arrived in 3 pieces and it was only supposed to be 1.
How sad is that.
I’m hoping the laser people will make me a new one soon.

Wall Base
Now that the windows are almost done, we will soon be laying down the floor. This means we also need wall base. I decided not to get boring wood since I want to be able to scuff it up with my shoes.
I’ve been looking at a vinyl product called Johnsonite which has some fizzy metallic colors.
Here is Queen Flee Wee helping me choose a color.

Queen Flee Wee chooses “Charcoal”.
Ok I changed my mind on the flooring
I found this new fab product called Fiberfloor
So no more spendy Amtico or boring Pergo.
Flooring Material for Stairs
I was originally thinking about using sisal carpeting on my stairs because I don’t want any more dust mite feces in my house.
It turns out that sisal turns slippery with wear. So that’s not an option.
I found out that Plynyl (Created by Sandy Chilewich–designer of really cool bags etc.) works great on stairs. I’m thinking about using Grasscloth “Mushroom” or “Platinum” on the stairs to the new level.
Home Creepo
One of my goals with this project is to avoid using Home Depot as much as possible. Their customer experience is heinous and they are evil.
I actually used Expo for my first remodel and they were a huge pain.
Interestingly, I discovered that most independent building supply stores in this area will meet or beat Home Depot pricing.
These are some of the places where I plan to get supplies:
Green Fusion
Ashby Lumber
Truitt & White
